Our Speakers

SAAA is proud to offer presentations & workshops. Our speakers have experience speaking at conferences, churches, police stations, community groups, and more. We would love to connect with you!

Below are our current speakers, as well as their locations and prepared talks. Our speakers are also happy to work with you and create a customized talk that suits your needs or interests. If you're located in a different city, don't hesitate to contact us anyways; our speakers may be able to travel or hold a talk online.

As part of our educational mission, we do not charge a fee, however we respectfully ask that you consider making a donation to SAAA following your event so that we can continue offering this service in the future.

Sasha Bauer

(she/they)

Sasha jokes that she "slippery-sloped" into her queer identity, from calling themself bi in high school, working through a string of microlabels, and finally landing on aroace. They know this is a common path and is keen to raise awareness about a-spec identities to help ease the journey of self-acceptance for others. Sasha has been involved with SAAA since 2016 and is the current President. With a decade of experience working in education, she is currently pursuing her funeral services license & slowly writing a novel on the side.
