The Society of Asexuals and Aromantics of Alberta (SAAA) is a registered society in Alberta. While everyone is welcome to attend events regardless of member status, becoming a member has advantages such as: voting on motions made during the Annual General Meeting, and voting or running for election on the Board of Directors.

• Membership is open to anyone who lives in Alberta.

• You are not required to identify as asexual/aromantic/a-spec to become a member of SAAA.

• Membership is free and runs for the calendar year. Filling out the membership form below means that your membership will be valid until December 31, 2025.

• The membership form asks for an address. This is required by the Alberta Societies Act. Your address remains confidential and will not be shared.

• You are welcome to become a member using a preferred name. If you run for the Board of Directors and are elected, your legal name will be requested & published in accordance with the Alberta Societies Act.

Our 2025 Annual General Meeting is on Sunday May 4 (optional social hour 1-2 pm, AGM 2-4 pm). The online meeting link and AGM package will be sent to registered members on April 14.

We recommend signing up for membership early so that you have time to review the package!

After April 14, we will check for new members weekly & send out the package as needed.

Are you interested in helping shape SAAA's future? A few of our current Board members will not be standing for re-election, so we're looking for new folks to run for election! Any member may join, regardless of identity or experience. Positions are: Director at Large (multiple), Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President, President. Details about Board elections will be sent to registered members via email.
