The Society of Asexuals and Aromantics of Alberta (SAAA) is a registered society in Alberta. While everyone is welcome to attend events regardless of member status, becoming a member has advantages such as: voting on motions made during the Annual General Meeting, and voting or running for election on the Board of Directors.

• Membership is open to anyone who lives in Alberta.

• You are not required to identify as asexual/aromantic/a-spec to become a member of SAAA.

• Membership is free and runs for the calendar year. Filling out the membership form below means that your membership will be valid until December 31, 2027.

• The membership form asks for an address. This is required by the Alberta Societies Act. Your address remains confidential and will not be shared.

• You are welcome to become a member using a preferred name. If you run for the Board of Directors and are elected, your legal name will be requested & published in accordance with the Alberta Societies Act.

2026 Annual General Meeting: Sunday May 31, 2-3 pm, held online (with optional social hour 1-2 pm). 

All members will be emailed the AGM package in mid-May, including the meeting link, agenda, and other relevant info. If you would like to attend and are not a registered member, email us to request the package. Please note, only members may vote on motions or run for the Board of Directors. At the 2026 AGM, we will elect Directors at Large; because executive Board positions have two-year terms, they are not up for election this year.
