About the event
Join us for a conversation about a-spec identities! Maybe you have identified as a-spec for a long time, or have newly arrived to this identity, or perhaps you've only recently heard the words "asexual" and "aromantic" and want to explore what they mean. This Discussion Night will be a space for us to share our perspectives and experiences, and hopefully walk away with a better understanding of each other and perhaps ourselves as well.
Some of our discussion questions may include:
How did you first realize that your sexual or romantic orientation was different from the norm?
Do you find that your a-spec identity intersects or impacts your other identities?
Has your a-spec identity changed other aspects of your life? (e.g. relationships, goals, interests)
Has your identity or sense of self changed over time? What has shaped this journey for you?
