About the event
Join us downtown for a morning walk along the river! We will meet at 10am at the Calgary Central Library, inside on the main floor by the stairs; Sasha is our host for this walk and will be carrying Aro/Ace flags to identify herself. The library is close to City Hall LRT Station, with paid parking lots nearby. We will start walking at 10:10 - please try to arrive on time so we don't leave you behind!
Our walking route will be along the Bow River Pathway, a predominantly flat paved sidewalk which has benches and seating areas along the way. Depending on participant interest, we will either take the pathway west (towards Prince's Island Park) or east (towards Inglewood). Both directions of the pathway have intermittent trees for shade as well as clear areas which may get direct sun.
