About the event
As several members of our Book Club read "Horrorstör" by Grady Hendrix (a horror-comedy set in a haunted IKEA), we thought: what better place to talk about this book than at the store which inspired it?
Join us on a Wednesday night field trip to the Calgary IKEA. We'll meet at the Swedish restaurant (upstairs from the main door) starting at 5:30 PM - feel free to arrive later, just keep in mind the restaurant closes at 7! There will be Ace/Aro flags on the table to help identify us. After we finish eating, we might continue our conversation with a walk around the store, if folks are up to it.
Note: the Calgary IKEA is wheelchair-accessible. The store and staff are LGBTQ+ friendly however most of the washrooms are gendered.
